It’s still there but leads a rather sad afterlife as a variety store. Go inside and see where the screen was and the ticket booths. Quite interesting – but i haven’t been there for some 7 years and when i wanted to take a picture the owner wouldn’t let me.

Saw Eraserhead there. Very appropriate. The owners are pretty hostile, it’s true.

I saw a Star Trek film there when I first moved into the neighbourhood.
