I remember the Ford dealership as Puddicombe;s
and that would be the ’50s or early *60s.
The Toastmaster Bread sign I now recall it and it
was perched over the CIBC bank branch at
Dundas West and Bloor West.
That intersection had a Fran’s Restaurant and we’d
gather there after a Conservatory recital with us at
two tables and our parents at a slight distance.
