Gotta say, I love the look of the old PCC cars. Especially when in their livery of pale yellow and maroon. They look so retro/futuro.

That deserted building on the corner was known as the Five Corners Tearoom at one time. It then became a ladies dress store. My mother owned a bakery before I was born (1935) on Roncesvalles, but I’m not sure of the name. Possibly Parkdale Bakery. If you find anything on it, I’d really to see it. My mother also worked at the tearoom. Janice Murray

My father also refers to this as Five Corners.
