Shit – sorry I should have sent you this years ago. South of where I grew up.
Tripped across it scouting a few years ago and took a bunch of photos.

  3. I see a Greek temple facade and an onion dome and a minaret. Ecumenicism in architecture?

  4. It reminds me a bit of the Mussolini House on Shaw.

How any of it passed code is beyond me. It always looks as if it falling apart – and in fact it is. I always drag people by to witness its full zany beauty. It’s either the craziest house or the toy house on Bertmount Street – also proudly in the east end.

Drove by here the other day, used to live a few blocks away…I think the owner just keeps adding on and to hell w/code or if other parts of it are falling down.

What street is this on? I’m local to EY and would love to go and see it in person too.

The first house is 110 Maybourne. I just spent 45 minutes trying to find it. Had I used Bing Maps first with the angled map it would have taken 5 minutes max.
