Looking east along Dundas in the mid 1960’s. Note the old subway entrance and telephone booth on the left. The first street on the left no longer exists. It was called O’Keefe Lane (formerly Victorian Lane) and named for the brewery that was there.

    Fantastic website! I wish that I discovered it before but as we say…it’s never too late!
    In passing, I may have some old pics that I would be happy to post here but how could I do that?
    All these old photos bring back fond memories. Congratulations for your superb work!!

    That map shows no brewery building at Bond and Gould – s/w corner. The brewery building which became Ryerson’s Photo and Film building. How old is the map ?

  3. The map posted says The O’Keefe Brewery Company LTD.
    I think the map is 1924.
