What's the Future Ever Done for Me?

Where is This? Carlton and Jarvis/Larry’s Hideaway

I don’t know where this is….

The sign on the left appears to sat the Carlton park Manor….

I believe it’s Carlton St. just east of Jarvis.  The larger
building in the background was once called Larry’s Hideaway
which had a buffet restaurant in the basement where I
would eat from time to time.

Allan Gardens was expanded further west after the
demolition of Larry’s Hideaway and any intervening
building closer to the church.

Look closely at the St. Andrew’s Ev. Lutheran
Church and notice the window treatments at the
eastern-most part of the building and compare
that to what’s on the church in the above photo.
But, then again, that type of window treatment
was a design convention of the time.  The building
that looks like Larry’s is just too similar to what
I remember to rule it out.
