A few years ago I was lucky enough to find a case of these NOS vintage Martian Firecrackers. Sadly this is the last pack. These are probably circa 1965-66 and illustrate the fascination we all had with the space program. That’s a Gemini space capsule on the front. These mini rockets are Cosmic Charged, Super Charged and Extra Loud!

WOW ! Where in heck did you find a case of em ?
And I take it you have ‘enjoyed’ the rest ?
I remember these and the little red ones and even some mini red ones.
Used to get up early the day after Victoria Day and walk up and down our street looking for the ones that didn’t go off . With wicks and without. Found tons. In the summer you could light them with a magnifying glass on a sunny day.

  3. WOW is right! I found them at a junk/antique store that used to be at Queen and Roncesvalles, Abbey Furniture. We blew them up over the years at parties but it always drew attention from the police…I’ve just got the one pack left. we used to go around collecting all the duds and break them open and make a pile (small) of gunpowder and set that off.
