Lost Spadina/Switzer’s Deli/Shuffle Demons

When I passed my driver’s licence test in 1977, my girlfriend and I drove downtown to celebrate and had corned beef sandwiches at Switzer’s.

The Garden was replaced by the Chinatown Centre.

    The Garden was once a GMC Truck dealership.
    GMC left and the Chinese erected the garden and
    installed shops in the building.
